Forum: avgeeks Subject: VCD to DVD consolidation

I have quite a number of family videos that have been converted from VHS tapes to VCDs. I would like to consolidate all of these VCDs onto DVDs with appropriate menus. I know that the .dat file is really an .MPG and if copied to a harddrive with a new (appropriate) name.mpg will be playable by some PC programs. How can I move these files into DVD format? What programs can be used? How much can I fit onto a DVD?

Get hold of a copy of Nero 6 or Nero 7. All your wants and needs will be fullfilled.
